Solid ranger PVP build

even with a revolver teh effective ness of flame/steyre and lvl 10 g14 beats whatever you could replace with there is no need to ever go past lvl 12 rising, when u can throw a g14 half screen and run up and bbq and do just about the same thing.

how do you actually win matches with none of those skills? if i knewu didnt have flame,steyre or a maxed g14 you wouldnt even get close.

Grenades: You max them. Why? Because there's no 100% in PvP. There is no guarantee that they will hit your grenade, there's no guarantee you'll throw it perfectly. In fact it's impossible. You max grenades because it raises your chance of catching someone with them, makes them more versatile because they have better X/Y axis reach and since you combo with them in various circumstances, why not soak some extra damage out of them? Like I said, I had lvl 1 grenade before respec and level 10 after. The difference is night and day. Level 10 grenades are a better investment than 90% of any other skills you can drop points into.

Rising Shot: 12-15 is good. 20 is what I'd recomment for a Launcher who needs that type of popup, but for a Ranger, 12-15. 10 even works as a minimum level. Don't go below 10. Don't go above 15. 12 is recommended and what my Ranger uses.

Protip: If you never fight Rangers with higher than level 1 grenade you're righting the wrong Rangers. When I see a low level grenade, I get stoked on it. Because I can double tap 'up' twice and instantly escape a grenade, or just gun guard and take like 200dmg when they try to get me on wakeup.

No point in a amr and a flame thrower+lv 10 gernades dude. Even I know that :l

Then you don't know shit because you're dead wrong dewd. AMR is godlike ranged poke, comes out quick, knocks players back, 2nd explosion interupts. Flamethrower zones out melee. They are fast enough that they combo at a close-to-medium range, combo off of Jackspike, Rising Shot, BBQ, all that jazz.

Another tip: If you fight Rangers that don't use grenades for baiting and combo resetting and using them for offensive purposes other than their other skills, you're fighting the wrong Ranger.

25% boost on it's blast radius at the cost of 225 SP (Lv10 G14).. Statistically speaking, that's just wrong. Instead of double tapping twice, I can double tap twice and 1/4 up to dodge it.

unless u are godly with ur jackspike + cancel or bbq, u will never keep people away without max nade or flame thrower.

there was only one good male ranger i knew of without nades in pvp and he was a pve build.
