Post How to Obtain PERFECT Resolution on DFO

DFO Perfect Resolution Guide

Intro

This guide is to show you how to have perfect Resolution in Dungeon Fighter Online.

You will need to download a program as seen below.

DFO Resizer Download

You may download DFO Resizer at the link below

DFO Resizer v1.2 | Arujei Productions

Mirror Download Link

http://www.mediafire.com/?k9bczwih7xdgzq9

This program allows you to resize the Client to any resolution you wish.

Guide

1. Resolution:

To obtain perfect resolution, you must understand this factor. DFO runs native on 640 Width by 480 Height.

The only way to obtain a perfect resolution is, you must use multiples of Width 640 and Height 480.

The following multitudes for Width. 640, 1280, 1920 & 2560. The list goes on.

The following multitudes for Height. 480, 960, 1440 & 1920. The list goes on.

2. DFO Resizer

To use DFO Resizer first download the program.

Unzip it using Winrar

And simply, open the program by double clicking it.

Once you've done that, it should look like this.

Now, for a example we will be inputting 1280 Width by 960 Height.

Type 1280 in the "W:" box and type 960 in the "H:" Box

Then, click the button labeled "Custom".

After all is said and done, it should look like this.

Notice, how there is not a single imperfection in the sprites/text?

You can do this with any multitude of Width 640 and Height 480 and combine them together.

Epilogue

I hope you guys find use in this tutorial, for those of you who just want things to look smooth or maybe you're picky about resolution, this guide is for you.

Downloading DFOResizer 1.2 from the page linked in the guide gives me an invalid .rar file that won't open. Got an alternate host for it somewhere?

Be sure to click the magnify option when you view the 3rd image, you'll see it looks fine.

No. I dunno if you're blind or what but that is not "perfect" resolution. The only way it's going to look the way it's supposed to is in its native. Resizer is trash and makes it look gross, even if you maintain the ratio. You might as well play on Full Screen (gross) if you want it bigger.

Agreed. A "Perfect resolution" is the native resolution of DFO.

But also, anyone else find it ironic that Juri made this guide when the sig is terribly stretched, not even maintaining the aspect ratio?

It's obviously not the "perfect" resolution here.
